Richard Gere is back in New York as successful hedge fund magnate, Robert Miller. Previous New York film projects include the romantic drama, Autumn in New York starring alongside Winona Ryder and the thriller, Unfaithful in which he discovers his wife played by Diane Lane is having an affair with another man.

In the Wall Street thriller, Arbitrage, from writer and director Nicholas Jarecki, Richard Gere’s character makes a personal mistake that threatens the sale of his trading empire. Susan Sarandon plays Gere’s wife, Brit Marling his daughter and Tim Roth the NYPD detective looking to deliver justice to a Wall Street big shot. The film was shot in New York City during the Spring of 2011, and locations include Park Avenue between 40th and 41st Streets, Madison Avenue between 48th and 50th Streets, 6 Avenue between 45th and 46th Streets, Central Park, Le Caprice on 5th Avenue at 61st Street, the famous Plaza Hotel, Gramercy Park South at Irving Place, the Italian Cultural Center on Park Ave between 68th and 69th Streets, White Street between Broadway and Lafayette Street, the Stux Gallery at 25th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues, Riverside Drive between 156th and 157th Streets, 81st Street between 3rd Avenue and Lexington Avenue, the Four Seasons Restaurant on 52nd Street and Park Avenue, the Frank Campbell Funeral Home on the corner of Madison Avenue and 81st Street and the famous Courthouse in lower Manhattan.

The film locations will be posted in 2013 following the DVD release.
