The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles return to the cinema this summer with “Out of the Shadows”. The release date is set for June 2016, with the sequel once again starring Megan Fox as April O’Neil.

This time the Turtles come into conflict of T.C.R.I. scientist Dr. Baxter Stockman with the association of the Foot Clan and the return of their enemy, the Shredder, who has hired Stockman to create mutants of their own in the form of Bebop and Rocksteady and an unknown invasion above New York City. To prevent the end of the world, the turtles and their human friends April O'Neil and Vern Fenwick come to the aid with vigilante Casey Jones.

Principal photography on the film began in April 2015 with several areas of New York City being used, including 12th Avenue and West 55st Street near Pier 90, 40th to 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, Church Street and Walker Street, Broadway and White Street, and Vazac's Horseshoe Bar at 108 East 7th Street and Avenue B.

The film is scheduled release in June 2016 and will be 3D.
