OnLocationVacations.com revealed this week that the production team for The Amazing Spider-Man would be returning to New York City in November for re-shoots.

The expected release date for the new Spider-Man film is the first weekend of July 2012 and stars Social Network actor, Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker / Spider-Man. Andrew replaces Tobey Maguire, who played the part of Spider-Man in the films Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3. There had been rumours of a fourth in the series until Sony decided to fashionably reboot the franchise. Also joining the cast for The Amazing Spider-Man film is Emma Stone who plays Gwen Stacy, Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors / The Lizard, Chris Zylka as Flash Thompson and Martin Sheen as Peter Parker’s uncle Ben.
