It is another one of those films that was supposed to be based in New York City, but was actually filmed in someplace else. “Love Again” stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sam Heughan, and singer Celine Dion, in her first feature film, portraying a fictionalised version of herself. The film, which was released in May 2023 follows Mira Ray, who is struggling to cope with the death of her fiancé, unintentionally sends a number of romantic messages to his old cell phone, which has been reassigned to journalist Rob Burns. When he is tasked with writing a feature about Celine Dion, Rob asks her for help finding a way to meet Mira in real life.

In April 2019, it was announced James C. Strouse would direct the film, tentatively titled “Text for You”, which would be an English-language remake of the German film “SMS für Dich”, with Screen Gems set to produce. In October 2020, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sam Heughan and Celine Dion joined the cast of the film. In November 2020, Russell Tovey, Steve Oram, Omid Djalili, Sofia Barclay, Lydia West, Arinzé Kene and Celia Imrie joined the cast. Principal photography began in October 2020 and ended in early 2021. Filming first took place in London, in particular, the Hackney Empire Theatre and on Florfield Road in Hackney, London. In April 2022, it was announced that the film had been retitled “It's All Coming Back to Me”, after the song ‘It’s All Coming Back to Me Now’, which Dion covered on her 1996 album ‘Falling into You’. In November 2022, it was announced that the film was retitled to “Love Again”.

The film’s leading actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has appeared in the New York-based comedy “Isn’t It Romantic” alongside Rebel Wilson, as well as the 2010 musical drama “Anjaana Anjaani”, which had featured several New York locations, in particular Cafe Lalo at 201 West 83rd Street, the Wollman Rink in Central Park, Times Square, and John Street in Brooklyn.
