The countdown to 900 films has officially begun as the figure reached 870 this week. With only 30 films now needed to reach the target, celebrations are expected to be held later this year.

OtsoNY was launched in November 2009, and by June 2011 had 500 films gracing its web pages, and by November smashed through the 600 barrier with the Shirley Maclaine scary classic “The Possession of Joel Delaney”. The 700th film was “The Gumball Rally”, whilst the 800th film was the classic Robert Redford film, “The Hot Rock” which was posted online in January this year and now bets are now on for which film will be the 900th to grace the pages of otsoNY. Here are a few of the titles that are in the running for the prestigious position.
