The countdown to 700 films has officially begun as the figure reached 670 today. With only 30 films now needed to reach the target and with over 40 films recently added to the Coming Soon section, the estimated time for this achievement has been moved forward to June 2012.

OTSONY was launched in November 2009, and by June 2011 had 500 films gracing its web pages, and by November smashed through the 600 barrier with the Shirley Maclaine scary classic “The Possession of Joel Delaney”. Bets are now on for which film will be the 700th film. Here are a few of the titles that are in the running for the prestigious position.
