5 to 7 Film Locations

Boy meets woman in “5 to 7” a New York romance set at the intersection of nostalgia and wishful thinking that takes off near the corner of Fifth Avenue and 55th Street. It’s there that Brian played by Anton Yelchin first sees Arielle, Ex-Bond Girl Bérénice Marlohe across a crowded street, smoking outside the St. Regis Hotel. He heads straight toward her, lights up his own cigarette and somehow charms her enough so that the two are soon sharing laughs. He’s 24, single and American; she’s 33, married and French. It’s chemistry at first blush and, because neither character works for a pay check, they run off to begin the 5 to 7 p.m. assignations that give the movie its title.

Several scenes were filmed at the Guggenheim Museum on 5th Avenue as well as outside and inside the St. Regis Hotel on East 55th Street.

Bérénice Marlohe

Bérénice Marlohe is a French actress born in 1979. She is mostly known for playing anti-heroine Bond girl Sévérine in the twenty-third James Bond film Skyfall.

Her television credits include Père et Maire, Femmes de loi, and Equipe médicale d’urgence. She had an uncredited role in the French comedy Happiness Never Comes Alone with Sophie Marceau. She is also a brand ambassador for Omega Watches.

Born in Paris, her father was a doctor and her mother, a teacher. Bérénice originally held aspirations of becoming a pianist, as well as an artist, studying at the prestigious French arts school Conservatoire de Paris for ten years. She first appeared in 2007 in a French short film titled La discordance before appearing in French TV series such as Pas de secrets entre nous , Femmes de loi, R.I.S, police scientifique, and Père et maire. She has appeared twice in the French crime series R.I.S, police scientifique, once in 2009 and once in 2012.

In 2012 she played Laurent's, played by Maurice Barthélémy, date in Happiness Never Comes Alone, but she is best known for her role as Bond girl Sévérine in 2012's twenty-third James Bond film Skyfall. She is a strong believer in fate. During an interview, she stated that she dreamt of acting alongside Javier Bardem six months before her Bond audition. After the dream, she knew that everything would be fine. It was not until the second audition for Skyfall that someone mentioned to her that Bardem might also be cast.

This year she is set to appear in the upcoming film, Weightless alongside Ryan Gosling, Natalie Portman, and Rooney Mara.
