Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

Last Updated: April 2023

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment, the fate of Earth and existence has never been more uncertain.

otsoNY Comments: Although the film is partly set in New York City, none of the actual scenes were shot there, and everything that is seen on screen was created by visual effects.

otsoNY Comments: Even the scenes featuring Spider-Man were shot with green screen technologu, and he was not actually swinging around Washington Square Park.

otsoNY Comments: An early scene in the film featured Tony Stark and Pepper Potts at what looked like Central Park, especially with the convincing sign they walk passed and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir in the background, but once again this not New York, but in fact Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia.

Piedmont Park, 1071 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, Georgia.
