Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989)

Opthalmologist Judah Rosenthal (Martin Landau) has had an affair with Dolores (Anjelica Huston) for several years, and now she threatens to ruin his life if he doesn't marry her. When his brother Jack suggests to have Dolores murdered, Judah is faced with a big moral dilemma: destruction of his life or murder. Meanwhile, documentary filmmaker Clifford Stern (Woody Allen) is trying to make a film of a philosophy professor, but instead he's commissioned to make a portrait of succesful TV producer and brother-in-law Lester, who to Clifford represents everything that he despises.

  Bleecker Street Cinema was located at 144 Bleecker Street and was a landmark of Greenwich Village until it closed in August 1990, due to sharp increases in rent.

  The hotel is a 47-story, 190.5 m (625 ft) Art Deco landmark, designed by architects Schultze and Weaver and dating from 1931 and was the first hotel to offer room service.
