After being forced to place a want ad looking for a roommate to share his tiny New York City apartment, Charlie (Jaime Zevallos) finds himself at a personal, professional, and financial dead end. Things can’t seem to get any worse when Charlie finds his ex-girlfriend Pam (Angela Sarafyan) standing on his front door in response to his ad, but slowly he begins to find inspiration and purpose in the presence of the woman who broke his heart.
