New York City television producer Allan (Saul Rubinek), who works at a no-frills local cable channel, sets out to find his dream woman. Allan is so determined that he even has an artist's sketch created from his ideal description. On his quest for love, he endures a series of ridiculously bad dates before spotting Maria (Marcia Strassman), the lovely lady he believes is perfect for him. But can Allan find a way to make Maria fall for him?
