Erica Bain's one bedroomed apartment is small and compact. The main living area plays host to her work. Having lost her fiancee, David in an horrific attack, she now lives alone. With feelings of angry, Erica has become drawn into a world of vigilantism, killing random criminals and attempting to track down the thugs who killed David.

Erica's apartment building has a flexible layout in a boutique prewar building. Incredibly low monthly maintenance, with high ceilings, oversized windows and ample closet space grace this duplex. It is currently used as a 3-bedroom apartment and has no elevator only a spiral staircase.

otsoNY Comments: The property on West 104th Street was used for exterior and interior shots (staircase and hallway scene), however the actual apartment was shot on a sound stage due to the restricting views within the original apartment. The set designers also made the garden look run dowwn and overgrown. Today, the apartment building is still there for fans to see almost exactly as it was in the film, with one exception being the adjacent garden, which is now clean, tidy and well maintained.
