The Smurfs (2011)

When the evil wizard Gargamel (Hank Azaria) chases the tiny blue Smurfs Papa Smurf (Jonathan Winters), Smurfette (Katy Perry), Clumsy (Anton Yelchin), Grouchy (George Lopez), Brainy (Fred Armisen) and Gutsy (Alan Cumming) out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into the real world of Central Park and New York City. The Smurfs befriend Patrick (Neil Patrick Harris) and Grace Winslow (Jayma Mays), a married and expectant couple and up staying in their apartment until they find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

  A walkway leading to the beautiful Bethesda Terrace, the Central Park Mall runs through the middle of the Park from 66th to 72nd street. It remains the sole formal feature of Olmsted and Vaux's naturalistic creation.  

Belvedere Castle, Central Park, Manhattan.
  Central Park's Belvedere Castle offers park goers exactly what its name implies. Sitting high on top of Vista Rock, the second highest natural elevation in the park, the castle is located mid-park at 79th Street. And with its two balconies, it supplies wonderful panoramic views that include some of Central Park's most beautiful and famous landmarks.

Rockefeller Center

Rockefeller Center is a complex of 19 commercial buildings covering 22 acres (89,000 m2) btw 48th and 51st streets in New York City, United States. Built by the Rockefeller family, it is located in the center of Midtown Manhattan, spanning the area btw Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1987.

otsoNY Comments: In this scene, Gargamel throws a plate with bread up in the air with the cat, it falls and a breaking sound is heard. However, seconds later, the plate and the bread are on the same place as if untouched!
