The Sunshine Boys (1975)

Al Lewis (George Burns) and Willy Clark (Walter Matthau) were famous comedians during the vaudeville era; off-stage, though, they couldn't stand each other and haven't spoken in over 20 years. Ben, Willy Clark's nephew, is the producer of a variety show that wants to feature a reunion of the classic duo. How will Ben convince the crotchety old comedians to put aside their differences before the big show?

  The Ansonia Hotel on 74th and Broadway has also been used as an apartment building for Michael Douglas's character in Don't Say a Word and was home to Bridget Fonda in Single White Female.

  The Ed Sullivan Theatre is now home to the Late Show with David Letterman. It is on the list of National Register of Historic Places, and the interior has been designated a landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission.
