The Upside (2017)

Phillip (Bryan Cranston) is a wealthy quadriplegic who needs a caretaker to help him with his day-to-day routine in his New York penthouse. He decides to hire Dell (Kevin Hart), a struggling parolee who's trying to reconnect with his ex and his young son. Despite coming from two different worlds, an unlikely friendship starts to blossom as Dell and Phillip rediscover the joy of living life to the fullest.


otsoNY Comments: The entrace to the Bank of America Tower on 6th Avenue was made to look like a Manhattan hospital.

  The Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park is a 1,200 ft skyscraper in the Midtown area of Manhattan in New York City. It is located on Sixth Avenue, between 42nd and 43rd Streets, opposite Bryant Park.

otsoNY Comments: The majority of the film was shot in Philadelphia, of which included a scene outside the Rainbow shop at 3142 Kensington Avenue.
