In June 2020, it was announced on social media that Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte were officially back as production for the Sex and the City reboot titled "And Just Like That" began filming. Lead actress Sarah Jessica Parker shared a photo of herself alongside Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis on set of the HBO Max original with the caption "Together again", adding that the trio had just completed their first table read for the new show.
