Tristan (Matthew Lillard) is a man who has put his life on hold to care for his mother, Sandy (Virginia Madsen), as she declines with Alzheimer’s. His world is defined by routine, isolation, and the quiet grief of watching her memories fade. The strain costs him his relationship with Leah (Emmanuelle Chriqui), a symbol of the future he once imagined. When he later meets Alice (Sarah Bolger), a gentle, free-spirited woman, Tristan is offered a glimpse of connection and renewal. Torn between duty and desire, he must decide whether he can move forward without abandoning the person he loves most.
