After kung fu prodigy Li Fong (Ben Wang) relocates to New York City, he attracts the attention—and hostility—of a dominant local karate champion. otsoNY Comments: Although most of the film was shot in Canada, this opening sequence is one of the few scenes filmed on location in New York City—though the interior of the taxi was almost certainly recreated elsewhere.

otsoNY Comments: It is an interesting view of the Manhattan skyline, though most defiantely added in post production to give the effect that the rooftop garden is centrally located in midtown. Most of the filming for this movie took place in Montreal, Canada.
