Lou Delemere (Ally Sheedy), a former professional golfer turned motivational speaker seems to have it all: fame, money, a beautiful lover Alex (Patsy Kensit). After being attacked near her home in New York, she and Alex retreat to her estate on Shelter Island looking to relax, but due to a severe storm find themselves trapped on the island and cut off from all communication. Soon a stranger knocks at the door and a dangerous game begins. With unexpected twists and turns, no one is who they appear to be.
