Andrea "Andy" Sachs (Anne Hathaway) is pulled back into the high-pressure world of Runway magazine when Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) faces the challenge of keeping the iconic fashion publication relevant in an increasingly digital industry. Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), now a successful executive in luxury fashion, holds the influence and advertising connections that Runway urgently needs. As Miranda fights to protect her magazine and her legacy, Andy finds herself caught between her former boss, old colleagues and the career she has built for herself. With Nigel Kipling (Stanley Tucci) once again offering support and advice, old rivalries, ambitions and loyalties are tested as the fashion world proves to be just as ruthless as ever. |

otsoNY Comments: In the opening sequence, we see Andrea crossing Madison Avenue assumingly heading to Madison Square Park, though she takes a slight detour before making her way into the park, by somehow seamlessly transporting to 5th Avenue between East 38th and 39th Streets, and then onto Lexington Avenue and East 37th Street.

otsoNY Comments: Notice that Andrea smiles when she sees a market seller showing a customer two blue belts, a nod to the original film.

otsoNY Comments: For the press awards, the building at 1 Lexington Avenue was only used as the entrance. The actual awards took place inside The Union League Club at 38 East 37th Street.

otsoNY Comments: Bubby's at 120 Hudson Street was also featured in the first film.

otsoNY Comments: What the film lacks in storyline, it makes up for in the photography of New York City and in partcular the office building on 6th Avenue.

otsoNY Comments: While this sequence was being filmed, actress Anne Hathaway accidentally slipped on the steps outside 336 East 18th Street, just as she was surrounded by paparazzi. The unexpected moment was captured by photographers and posted on social media.

otsoNY Comments: As the two characters walk along Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, they pause at the corner of Henry Street and look across the road. Although the scene suggests they are looking towards 100 Amity Street, their actual line of sight is directed at the building occupied by The Long Island Bar.

otsoNY Comments: Notice the fictional address on the front entrance showing 925 Henry Street.
